Local Fire and Explosion in Martinez Catches Power Pole

Occurred on May 19, 2021 / Martinez, California, USA
"The fire and explosion took place approx. 200 yards from our backyard fence. While my wife was inside frantically packing our belongings, of course I thought the prudent thing to do in this situation was to go outside and get it all on video. Just a few seconds after hitting record on my Samsung S21 Ultra the 2-alarm blaze erupted into a fire ball. I could feel a tinge of heat upon my face. Vehicles, propane tanks, fireworks, and ammo made an unreal crescendo. As you can hear toward the end of the video, my wife wanted me back inside the house ASAP. Amazingly our neighbors are safe and healthy. What a Wednesday."
