Non-government Organisations (NGOs) are playing a vital role in providing oxygen to the needy in Kashmir amid the second wave of the pandemic. The demand for medical oxygen soared after cases increased in the valley. NGOs have come forward in the hour of need. Social Reform Organization (SRO) which was established in 2004 is providing facilities including oxygen machines, oxygen cylinders, masks, and nebulizers free of cost to the underprivileged. Asthma patients are also getting oxygen supply from NGOs. The government and organisations are working hand in hand to battle Covid surge.
