Britain’s Royal Marines is testing jet suits to help with maritime boarding in place of a helicopter. The suit allows for ‘extremely rapid access to any part of the target vessel’ and presents a potential ‘revolution in tactical capability’ by special forces. The suit, which was created by Gravity Industries, was previously tested by British paramedics to quickly get to people in need in hard-to-reach locations on land.
