India has reported 4,529 fatalities due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, the highest so far in a single day since the outbreak of the pandemic. This has pushed the COVID-19 death count to 2,83,248. This apart, 2,67,334 fresh cases were recorded taking the total tally of infections to 2,54,96,330.
