Uttar Pradesh DGP claims only 39 bodies recovered from rivers

Days after the dead bodies of suspected Covid-19 victims were spotted floating on the river Ganga, Uttar Pradesh DGP has released the list of recovered bodies, claiming that only 39 bodies were recovered from rivers. However, ground reports put forward a different picture.
