Trees uprooted, streets waterlogged due to Cyclone Tauktae

Gujarat is bracing for the storm's impact as Cyclone Tauktae is hurtling northwards towards the state expected to cross the coast on Monday evening. Moderate to intense spells of rain accompanied by strong winds at a wind speed of 150 to 175 kilometres per hour is very likely in the Saurashtra districts of Gujarat. As a result of Cyclone Tauktae, trees have been uprooted and streets are waterlogged in different parts of Mumbai. The city has been experiencing heavy rainfall and strong winds throughout the day.
