As the US army packs up to leave Afghanistan after nearly 20 years of war, it's dumping tons of equipment and selling it as scrap to local dealers. The US military is destroying all its equipment or anything they are not taking home or giving to the Afghan military. As heaps of scrap lay all around, Afghans are angry that the supplies and equipment was trashed before being sold to them.

Weeks ago, US President Joe Biden announced the withdrawal of US troops out of Afghanistan, ending its ‘forever war’.
