The National Police will help boost maritime law enforcement patrols as Chinese vessels continue to linger in the West Philippine Sea. PNP Chief General Guillermo Eleazar says. the government tapped the PNP Maritime Group to assist the Coast Guard and the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources in their patrols. The Foreign Affairs department filed another diplomatic protest against Beijing today after authorities still spotted close to 300 Chinese vessels scattered over parts of Kalayaan.
