Just a few days before the second phase kicks, the Gauteng Health Department says it's encouraged to see that some of the elderly who have raised concerns about getting vaccinated, are coming back to register for their jab. Although the registration process for receiving the COVID-19 vaccines is going well in Gauteng, 25% of elderly people have raised health concerns. Acting Chief Director of Service Delivery Interventions in the Office of the Premier, Philemon Buthelezi, says the office has put together a database of about 50,000 people aged 60 and above.
