DOH confirms two cases of COVID-19 variant from India

The Philippines faces another threat in the COVID-19 battle with two confirmed cases of the so-called 'double mutant' variant first detected in India. With the global variant of concern already here, authorities have yet to decide on the extension of a ban on travelers from India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Pakistan which ends Friday, May 14th.
