What are the challenges that ambulance providing companies are facing and how are they helping those who need oxygen, ambulance, hospital beds? BOOM Explains.

Prabhdeep Singh, Founder, Stanplus, says that Delhi is a particularly tough market for ambulances with oxygen since all oxygen is rightfully being diverted to the hospitals. Many people now need oxygen at home as well, making it tough for ambulance companies to source oxygen. Patients are also reverse migrating from bigger cities to smaller ones looking for hospital beds, oxygen etc.

He also says that Stanplus helps patients find oxygen concentrators if their oxygen levels are hovering near 90. They help patients secure hospital beds using publicly available systems before sending an ambulance. If a patient boards an ambulance and has to spend hours searching for a bed, it only aggravates anxiety and renders the ambulance useless for others.
