There have been reports of continuous violence from the state since the results of West Bengal assembly elections 2021. The Union Home Ministry has written a letter to the state government for the second time on the violence taking place in West Bengal. The Home Ministry asked why the response to measures to prevent violence was not given after the elections held last month.

पश्चिम बंगाल विधानसभा चुनाव 2021 के नतीजों के बाद से राज्य से लगातार हिंसा की खबरें सामने आ रही है। पश्चिम बंगाल में हो रही हिंसा पर केंद्रीय गृह मंत्रालय ने राज्य सरकार को दूसरी बार पत्र लिखा है. गृह मंत्रालय ने पूछा कि पिछले महीने हुए चुनावों के बाद हिंसा रोकने के उपायों के बारे में जवाब क्यों नहीं दिया गया.
