चुनाव आयोग के खिलाफ की गई मद्रास हाई कोर्ट की टिप्पणियों पर सुप्रीम कोर्ट में सुनवाई हुई. सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने मद्रास हाई कोर्ट की टिप्पणी पर रोक लगाने से इनकार कर दिया. कोरोना काल में भी पांच राज्यों में वोटिंग कराने पर गुस्सा मद्रास हाई कोर्ट ने कहा था कि चुनाव आयोग देश की सबसे अगंभीर संस्था है और क्यों न देश में हुई मौतों के लिए आयोग के अधिकारियों के खिलाफ हत्या का केस चलाया जाए.

Angry over the voting in five states in the Corona era, the Madras High Court had said that the Election Commission is the most serious institution in the country and why should not a murders case be run against the officers of the Commission for the deaths in the country.
