American former professional stock car racing driver Eric McClure’s cause of death was announced after rumors claimed he passed away in a Talladega crash Sunday (May 2, 2021) at the age of 50. RIP.

Born in Chilhowie, Virginia, Eric McClure was a graduate of Emory and Henry College. He is married, to Miranda, and the couple shared seven daughters. He last competed part-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving the No. 0 Chevrolet Camaro for JD Motorsports.
