Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin to
Begin Selling Tickets for
Maiden Space Voyage .
On Thursday, Jeff Bezos’ spaceflight company Blue Origin
teased news of a future maiden private space voyage. .
In a post to social media, Blue Origin said seats
would soon be available for purchase.
The voyage will take place aboard their
suborbital launch vehicle, New Shepard. .
The social media post included a video showing
off the successful landing of the vehicle. .
It is unclear how much tickets will cost,
but TechCrunch reports they will likely be
hundreds of thousands of dollars each. .
More information about the maiden voyage
has been promised for release on May 5. .
Blue Origin’s New Shepard rocket launched
an “astronaut rehearsal” in mid-April.
It was the second time in 2021 that the
rocket had launched and landed successfully
