Jayson Tatum was interviewed postgame following the Celtics’ 120-11 win vs the Charlotte Hornets. He talked about his game off vs the Thunder, having Robert Williams back, and Aaron Nesmith’s breakout game.
Tatum did not play last night vs Oklahoma City. He was asked about whether or not that day of rest helped him since he has been playing so many minutes this season. “I did feel pretty good today,” he said. “Having that extra day, my body felt a lot better.”
Robert Williams finally made his return to the court tonight after dealing with a knee injury. Tatum talked about what it’s like to have him back. “We for sure missed his presence,” he stated. “I love playing with Rob… easily probably my favorite person to play with.”
He also spoke about Nesmith’s breakout performance. “Aaron is a guy that’s literally going to give his body up every possession,” said Tatum. “It doesn’t go unnoticed, we need that from him and we appreciate it.”
