Indian Army sets up Covid hospitals in Bhopal and Lucknow

In a bid to address the bed crunch in hospitals amid rising Covid-19 cases, a new isolation facility has been set up Army in Bhopal to tide over the crisis. A 150-bed Covid-19 care centre has been started amid a sharp spike in cases. 500 beds with an oxygen facility have been set up in Lucknow by DRDO. The move, which has been initiated on the directives of defence minister Rajnath Singh, is expected to bring much-needed relief to the state capital fighting coronavirus.
