Amidst covid-19 second wave, the country is battling with the dearth of oxygen supply to many infected patients who are left gasping for breath as city hospitals are facing an acute shortage of medical oxygen. Addressing the issue on Aaj Tak, CMO SDMC Dr. Rakesh Nath Prasad said that 80-85% covid cases can be solved at home. While the rest of the critical cases from 10-15 percent are in need of oxygen. People need to trust doctors, take good consultation, and do not hoard oxygen unnecessarily at your home.
