Second COVID-19 case of community transmission detected in Perth

Perth has recorded two new positive COVID-19 cases as it heads into the second day of a three-day lockdown, both are contacts of the original infection that sent Perth and Peel into lockdown on Friday. Epidemiologist Mary-Louise McLaws, who is a professor of Epidemiology at UNSW and an advisor to the World Health Organisation, says the lockdown may have to be extended.
