West Sussex Fire said firefighters were sent to Chilgrove Road shortly after 9pm.
Crews from Bognor, Chichester, East Wittering, Midhurst, were called along with Hampshire crews from Bordon and Emsworth, as well as the aerial ladder platform from Southsea.
