With over 3.1 lakh Covid-19 cases, India reports biggest-ever spike

India reported the highest-ever spike of Covid-19 cases on April 22. Daily cases breached 3-lakh mark with 3,14,835 new Covid-19 cases. India’s Covid-19 caseload now stands at 1,59,30,965 and currently there are 22,91,428 active cases in India. With 2,104 new deaths, toll has mounted to 1,84,657. In last 24 hrs, 1,78,841 people have been discharged, taking the numbers to 1,34,54,880. As of now, 13,23,30,644 Covid-19 vaccine jabs have been inoculated.
