India reported over 2.95 lakh new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, pushing the overall Covid-19 tally in the country to 1,56,16,130. With 2,023 more deaths in the last 24 hours, the nationwide toll has mounted to 1,82,553. During the press briefing, Health Ministry said that with the surge in the covid cases, the number of beds is also being increased in the hospitals.
