Intelligence agencies in the country are on the defensive following an exposé aired in a local television station that claimed that police officers have been hiring out guns to criminals. Directorate of criminal investigations dci boss George Kinoti has denied that the allegedly procured firearms as well as the police uniforms highlighted in the exposé were purchased from police officers.
