An ‘instafamous’ couple who crossed state borders to Johor for their honeymoon were sentenced to a day’s jail and fined RM2,500 by the Kuala Lumpur Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday (April 20) for giving false information to the police last month.

Iram Naz Hafiz Sabir Muhammed, 25, and her husband Azharique Shah Abdul Jalil, 23, pleaded guilty to the offence before Magistrate Wong Chai Sia.
