India registered 1,761 Covid deaths in the last 24 hours, the biggest one-day spike since the pandemic began, on Monday. Amid the worrying rise in ases, India has opened vaccination for all above the age of 18. The Prime Minister is set to hold meetings with top vaccine manufacturers this evening.
