ग्लेन मैक्सवेल ने कोलकाता के खिलाफ धुंआ उड़ा दिया है. मतलब की धुंआधार बल्लेबाजी की है. आरसीबी की टीम एक बार फिर ग्लेन मैक्सवेल की पारी की वजह से फायदे में रही. साथ ही ग्लेन मैक्सवेल के तेज पचासे से सबसे ज्यादा आरसीबी के कप्तान गदगद हुए. कोहली इतने खुश हुए कि उन्होंने जोर-जोर से बहुत देर तक ताली बजाते रहे और हौसलाअफजाई करते रहे. साफ़ तौर पर देखा जा सकता था कि ग्लेन मैक्सवेल की पारी से और बैटिंग से कप्तान कितने खुश हैं. इतना ही नहीं, ग्लेन मैक्सवेल के पचासे के बाद पूरा ड्रेसिंग रूम और आरसीबी मैनेजमेंट अपनी सीट पर मैक्सवेल की पारी को सलाम करने लगे. गौर हो, नौंवें ओवर में पैट कमिंस गेंदबाजी कर रहे थे. और ओवर की आखिरी गेंद पर ग्लेन मैक्सवेल ने सिंगल लेकर पचासा पूरा किया. इसके लिए उन्होंने 28 गेंदों का सामना किया. छह चौके और दो छक्के भी लगाए.

Royal Challengers Bangalore’s investment in Glenn Maxwell seems to be playing off and rather emphatically. Maxwell, on Sunday, during Match 10 of the IPL 2021, scored a half-century off 28 balls against Kolkata Knight Riders, his second consecutive fifty, to lift RCB after they were two down for nine runs. Maxwell followed his knock of 59 against Sunrisers Hyderabad earlier this week with 78 off 49 balls fifty against KKR in hot and humid conditions at the Chepauk. This is just the second time since 2014 that Maxwell has registered back-to-back fifty-plus scores in the IPL and the importance of the knock could be seen not only on the face of Maxwell but also of his skipper Virat Kohli.
