India on Saturday registered the biggest daily spike of over 2.34 lakh Covid-19 cases as several states continue to struggle with a shortage of hospital beds. The top five states that have registered the maximum cases in the past 24 hours are Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Chhattisgarh, and Karnataka. AIIMS director Doctor Randeep Guleria has expressed his views on the Covid-19 second wave. He also discussed vaccination shortage, Covid's new variant, and amid Covid surge.
