Chennai Super Kings recorded their first win of the Indian Premier League 2021 campaign as they beat Punjab Kings by six wickets at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Deepak Chahar took four wickets to break the back of the PBKS’ batting unit as KL Rahul and Co. could only manage 106 runs. CSK chased the target down in 15.4 overs with Moeen Ali top-scoring.

आईपीएल 2021 का आठवाँ मैच महेंद्र सिंह धोनी की कप्तानी वाली चेन्नई सुपर किंग्स और केएल राहुल की पंजाब किंग्स के बीच खेला गया. इस मैच में धोनी ने टॉस जीत कर पहले गेंदबाज़ी का फ़ैसला किया. जिसके बाद पहले बल्लेबाज़ी करने आई पंजाब के बल्लेबाज़ पूरी तरह फ़्लॉप रहे और टीम पूरे 20 ओवर में 8 विकेट के नुकसान पर महज़ 106 रन ही बना पाई. चेन्नई की टीम ने शानदार बल्लेबाज़ी के दम पर 6 विकेट से एक आसान जीत दर्ज की.
