Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday launched a sharp attack at the Mamata Banerjee-led government in West Bengal saying that the state needs a “double engine government, not the one that halts development”.

"In this election, your votes will not only wash out TMC but also clean mafiaraj from here. I have one complaint. I came twice during the Lok Sabha election. When I came, there was a little crowd but today, this gathering has crossed all previous ones. More important is to cast your vote and get other people to vote," said PM Modi at a rally in Asansol.
