The White Tiger (Chinese: ??; Pinyin: Bái Hu) is one of the Four Symbols of the Chinese constellations. Bai Hu is a mystical animal that originated in the Han Dynasty in China. That said, Bai Hu protected the western region from the earth, so Bai Hu was also called the Western Guardian White Tiger. In Japanese, the White Tiger is also called Byakko while in Korean it is called Baekho (??).
