Sanju Samson hit a record-setting 119 but it was not enough as Rajasthan Royals lost by 4 runs in chase of 222. A fine bowling effort from Arshdeep Singh made sure Punjab defended their total despite the fireworks from the newly-appointed Rajasthan captain. Earlier, KL Rahul (91) and Deepak Hooda's (64) outstanding knocks propelled Punjab Kings to a mammoth 221 for 6.



इंडियन प्रीमियर लीग यानी आइपीएल के 14वें सीजन का चौथा मुकाबला मुंबई के वानखेड़े स्टेडियम में पंजाब किंग्स और राजस्थान रॉयल्स के बीच खेला गया। इस मैच में राजस्थान की टीम के कप्तान संजू सैमसन ने टॉस जीतकर गेंदबाजी करने का फैसला किया। पंजाब किंग्स ने केएल राहुल और दीपक हुड्डा के अर्धशतकों के दम पर निर्धारित 20 ओवर में 6 विकेट खोकर 221 रन बनाए। जवाब में राजस्थान की टीम 7 विकेट पर 217 रन ही बना पाई। कप्तान सैमसन ने 119 रन की पारी खेली लेकिन टीम को जीत नहीं दिला पाए।
