While establishing the Kalash, first of all, there is a law to make the swastik on the Kalash. Then tie a molly on the urn and fill it with water. After doing this, put whole betel nut, flower, perfume and Pancharatna, Akshat and coin in the urn. After this, spread a red and white cloth on a board, separate from the place of worship and make an octal with akshat and install an urn filled with water on it. The mouth of the urn should be covered with something. If the urn is covered with a lid, then fill it with rice and a coconut should be kept in between it. कलश स्थापना करते समय सबसे पहले कलश पर स्वास्तिक बनाने का विधान है। फिर कलश पर मौली बांधें और उसमें जल भर लें। ऐसा करने के बाद कलश में साबुत सुपारी, फूल, इत्र और पंचरत्न, अक्षत व सिक्का डालें। इसके बाद पूजन स्थल से अलग एक पाटे पर लाल व सफेद कपड़ा बिछा लें और अक्षत से अष्टदल बनाकर इस पर जल से भरा कलश स्थापित करें। कलश का मुंह किसी चीज से ढक देना चाहिए। अगर कलश को किसी ढक्कन से ढका है तो उसे चावलों से भर दें और उसके बीचों-बीच एक नारियल भी रखना चाहिए। आइए जानते है वास्तुशास्त्र के अनुसार नवरात्रि के प्रमुख कार्य कैसे करें।
