Staff of the Pasay City Cemetery and Crematorium prepare to burn the remains of a Covid-19 victim on April 10, 2021. The crematorium has been receiving 30 bodies a day amid the pandemic. It received an average of 16 bodies per day before Covid-19.

The DoH has noted "increasing trend of deaths" after a record-high 401 deaths were reported on Friday, Most of the deaths (287) were logged in March.
