Alaskan GOLD- LARGEST INLAND GOLD DREDGE IN ALASKA

We love to dredge for gold but can you imagine what it is like to dredge with a commercial size gold dredge? In this episode we get to run the 10" COMMERCIAL DREDGE for MEGA GOLD! This isn't Bering Sea Gold offshore of Nome but on the Fortymile River deep in the Alaskan Bush. For you history buffs, this area was part of the Alaskan & Klondike Gold Rush as the Fortymile River is a tributary of the Yukon River. There is even an old mining town, Franklin Alaska, nearby and remnants of an old bucket line dredge. The closest town to us was Chicken, Alaska and there is some great gold to be found here.

Special thanks to Gold Fever Prospecting for letting us take part in their commercial dredge operation. This is the LARGEST DREDGE on the FORTYMILE RIVER IN ALASKA! Be sure to watch till the end to see some amazing pictures of the gold cleanup.
