Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell hasn't been in the best of form in the IPL lately. Maxwell, who did not hit a single six in IPL 2020, was bought for a whopping sum of Rs 14.25 crore by RCB at IPL 2021 auction. Maxwell recently had his first session with RCB where he was seen joking with star leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal. "You know I am gonna hurt you," said Maxwell as he gave a tight hug to Chahal - who remains to be one the key players for the Virat Kohli-led side.


इस साल इंडियन प्रीमियर लीग में ग्लेन मैक्सवेल रॉयल चैलेंजर्स बैंगलोर (आरसीबी) की ओर से खेलेंगे। ग्लेन मैक्सवेल को इस साल के ऑक्शन में आरसीबी ने 14.25 करोड़ रुपये खरीदा है। आरसीबी को अपना पहला मैच 9 अप्रैल को डिफेंडिंग चैंपियन मुंबई इंडियंस के खिलाफ खेलना है। इससे पहले टीम ने एक प्रैक्टिस मैच खेला, जिसमें ग्लेन मैक्सवेल ने युजवेंद्र चहल की गेंद पर रिवर्स स्वीप के जरिए रन बटोरे। आईपीएल का पिछला सीजन मैक्सवेल के लिए बिल्कुल अच्छा नहीं रहा था। पिछले सीजन में किंग्स इलेवन पंजाब (अब पंजाब किंग्स) की ओर से खेले मैक्सवेल एक भी छक्का नहीं लगा सके थे।
