Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Monday forwarded Home Minister Anil Deshmukh's resignation to Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari and informed him that Nationalist Congress Party leader Dilip Walse Patil will now take charge of the state Home department.
