Egypt puts on a show as it carries pharaohs to new home

Twenty-two pharaoh mummies were brought to their new home in a stunning royal parade on the streets of Cairo seven kilometers from the Egyptian Museum on Tahrir Square on April 3.

The grand procession, dubbed the "Pharaohs' Golden Parade" rolled down the streets under heavy security throughout the seven kilometers across Cairo, from the iconic Egyptian Museum to the new National Museum of Egyptian Civilisation — their new resting place.
