An encounter between the security forces and Naxals at Chhattisgarh's Sukma-Bijapur border district claimed the lives of 22 jawans and left 31 others injured. Naxals unleashed their arsenal of Light Machine Guns and Rocket launchers on the security forces. In retaliation from the security forces, about 15-20 Naxals were also killed.
