The Indian Railways has suffered a setback in the 10-year-old negligence case. The National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission has ordered a compensation of Rs 3 lakh to the Railways in case of not being given to an elderly couple despite the lower berth being available in the train. This is the case of railway negligence in September 2010.

भारतीय रेलवे को 10 साल पुराने लापरवाही के मामले में झटका लगा है . ट्रेन में लोअर बर्थ उपलब्ध होने के बावजूद एक बुजुर्ग दंपती को नहीं दिए जाने के मामले में राष्ट्रीय उपभोक्ता विवाद निवारण आयोग ने रेलवे को 3 लाख रुपये हर्जाना देने का आदेश दिया है. रेलवे की लापरवाही का ये मामला सितंबर 2010 का है.
