We shouldn't dismiss race report, says Government minister
  • 3 years ago
Apprenticeships Minister Gillian Keegan has urged the public not to dismiss the Commission on Race and Ethnic Disparities report following criticism that it downplays institutional racism. The Conservative MP said "I think we need to not dismiss it, not dismiss the ten commissioners who have a lot of experience, and not dismiss the thousands of people who have contributed to the report." She praised the level of detail the report goes in helping to shape government policies moving forward. Report by Thomasl.
