Once upon a time...I was like the flash on the court. I was a short blaze of crossovers, no look passes and deceptively high vertical when it came to going to the bucket. I played against D1 players, street ball legends and pro players and I NEVER got ran off the court like a scrub.

One bad jump changed that and I didnt play for 9 years on a consistent basis. 9 YEARS!! and that was 5 years ago. Now older and actually in much better shape this video reminds me how much basketball added to my life. The relationships I built, the one time I got to coach 13 and under AAU and got BLOWN OUT EVERY game since my team ..well they were all 4 footers playing against monstars. A lot of memories on the hardwood, the blacktop, back alleys with the crate and dodge ball screaming some expletive in your friends face when you score or block a shot.

Spring is here. I think its time to get back out there, test these knees....again.
