Byron Bay in NSW declared a NT coronavirus hotspot

The Northern Territory Government has expanded its list of coronavirus hotspots to include the Byron Shire in northern NSW as a result of the escalating COVID outbreak that began in Queensland. The Territory's Deputy Chief Minister Nicole Manison says people arriving to the NT from the Byron Shire will now be required to enter mandatory, supervised quarantine, effective immediately.
