Russell Westbrook: Greatest Triple Double Ever!

Russell Westbrook was interviewed postgame after the Wizards’ 132-124 win vs the Indiana Pacers. He had a 20-assist triple-double on the night, finishing the game with 34 points, 14 rebounds, and 21 assists in the win.
Westbrook reacted to his monster night postgame. He also broke the Wizards’ franchise record for most triple-doubles in team history. He talked about what it meant to him to hold the record, but how it was more important to help out his teammates. “One thing I always do is stay humble, stay true to myself,” Westbrook said.
He also talked about his rebounding ability. He was asked about what makes him such a good rebounder and he simply responded, “my ability to go get it.” He says he believes he’s the best rebounder at his size in the history of basketball.
The point guard said that “he’s very thankful” whenever people congratulate him on breaking records. He also said that he “gives thanks to the coaches, to the staff,” and that he truly doesn’t deserve all the credit.
