India reported highest infections of 2021 on March 29 with 68,020 fresh Covid-19 cases, taking the total toll to 1,20,39,644. Union Health Ministry reported 32,231 recoveries in the last 24 hours. With new numbers, total recoveries reached 1,13,55,993. Currently, there are 5,21,808 active cases in the country. With 291 new deaths due to the coronavirus, the death toll stood at 1,61,843.
