With the beginning of first phase of voting in Assam on March 27, Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal showed confidence of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government’s return to power. He offered prayers at Boga Baba Mazaar at Dibrugarh. “I am hoping 100% BJP govt in Assam polls with the beginning of Phase l. This time the seats would increase as compared to last time. We had followed the policy ‘sabka saath sabka vikas’ for all categories including farmers, women, youth, so all are in support of BJP and their alliance parties today. I prayed for peace for all and victory for BJP,” said Sonowal. Voting for 47 assembly seats is underway on March 27.
