दिल्ली में कोरोना के बढ़ते मामलों के बीच स्वास्थ मंत्री सत्येंद्र जैन ने लॉकडाउन की संभावनाओं को खारिज करते हुए कहा कि लॉकडाउन कोरोना वायरस का समाधान नहीं है.उन्होंने माना कि लॉक डाउन करके देखा गया था, उसके पीछे एक लॉजिक था. उस समय किसी को नही पता था कि वायरस कैसे फैलता है. तब कहा गया था कि संक्रमित होने से लेकर ख़त्म होने तक 14 दिन का साइकिल है. उन्होंने कहा कि तब एक्सपर्ट का मानना था कि अगर 21 दिनों के लिए एक्टिविटी को लॉक कर दें तो वायरस फैलना बन्द हो जाएगा. लिहाजा लॉकडाउन बढ़ता गया बावजूद इसके कोरोना ख़त्म नही हुआ. दिल्ली के स्वास्थ्य मंत्री का कहना है कि मुझे लगता है कि लॉक डाउन एक मात्र समाधान नही है."
