According to the scripture, Holika Dahan is done on the full moon date without Bhadra, therefore Holika Dahan should be done before 12:30 in the night. Because the counterpart date will start after 12:30 at night. On 28 March 2021, the auspicious Choghadiya is from sunset to 10:30 pm on Sunday night, after which the disease Choghadiya will be planted. Therefore, Holika Dahan is getting the best Muhurta sunset after Pradosh time and before 10:30 in the night.

शास्त्रानुसार भद्रा रहित पूर्णिमा तिथि में ही होलिका दहन किया जाता है इस कारण रात में 12:30 बजे से पूर्व होलिका दहन हो जाना चाहिए। क्योंकि रात में 12:30 बजे के बाद प्रतिपदा तिथि लग जाएगी। 28 मार्च 2021 दिन रविवार की रात में शुभ चौघड़िया सूर्यास्त से लेकर रात में 10:30 बजे तक है उसके बाद रोग चौघड़िया लग जाएगी। अतः होलिका दहन का श्रेष्ट मुहूर्त्त सूर्यास्त बाद प्रदोष काल से लेकर रात में 10:30 बजे से पूर्व ही प्राप्त हो रही है।
