Spanish startup introduces device to protect firefighters from lethal gases

Barcelona-based startup Prometeo has invented a monitoring device for firefighters that indicates exposure to toxic gases. The project, founded by a team including a nurse, a firefighter and software developers, won IBM's Global Challenge contest for technological innovation in 2019.
