Nick Nurse on Altercation with Paskal Siakam

Raptors Head Coach Nick Nurse spoke in a pregame interview with media and was asked about the incident with Raptors star Pascal Siakam. The altercation involved Siakam confronting his coach "loudly and aggressively with words beyond standard cursing. It got personal, lines were crossed and teammates had to intervene." When asked, Nick Nurse stated that "Pascal wasn't very happy that he didn't play in the fourth quarter. He expressed those concerns. And that's about it. And the discipline stuff is being worked out with the front office." Since the altercation, Pascal Siakam has been fined $50,000 for his language aimed at Nurse. After a rollercoaster of a season, the frustrations seem to be running high with the Raptors (17-26) sitting at 11th in the Eastern Conference. With Toronto rumored to be shopping Kyle Lowry and Norman Powell, it seems like it is a lost season for the 2019 NBA Champions.
