Coronavirus New 'Double Mutant Variant' In 18 States || Oneindia Telugu

A new "Double Mutant Variant" of the coronavirus has been detected in 18 states in the country in addition to many other strains or variants of concern (VOCs) which have also found abroad, the Health Ministry said today amid fears of a second wave of the crisis in the country.

దేశవ్యాప్తంగా కరోనా వైరస్ సెకండ్‌ వేవ్‌ మొదలైందన్న ప్రచారంతో అసలే బిక్కుబిక్కుమంటూ గడుపుతున్న జనానికి కేంద్రం చావు కబురు చల్లగా చెప్పింది. దేశంలోకి మరో కొత్త రకం కరోనా వైరస్ ప్రవేశించిందని కేంద్రం ఇవాళ ప్రకటించింది. 18 రాష్ట్రాల్లో దీని ప్రభావం ఉందని కనుగొన్నట్లు ఆరోగ్యశాఖ ఓ ప్రకటనలో తెలిపింది. గతంలో ఎదుర్కొన్న వైరస్‌తో పోలిస్తే డబుల్‌ మ్యూటెంట్‌గా పేర్కొంటున్న దీని ప్రభావం అధికంగా ఉన్నట్లు తెలుస్తోంది. అందుకే తాజాగా భారీగా కేసుల సంఖ్య పెరుగుతున్నట్లు అర్ధమవుతోంది.
